Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your hotel or hostel, followed by a breathtaking bimodal journey. Travel by bus through the Sacred Valley, where towering peaks and vibrant Andean landscapes set the stage for your experience. Arrive in Ollantaytambo and board a scenic train to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu. 

The Perfect Prelude to Machu Picchu

3:00 pm

In Aguas Calientes, unwind in the town’s natural hot springs, explore local artisan markets, or visit the Machu Picchu Museum for insight into the citadel’s history. Stroll along charming streets lined with cafes and restaurants, savoring traditional Peruvian cuisine before your big adventure to Machu Picchu.

Unveiling the Lost City of the Incas

The day has finally arrived! Embark on your journey to the legendary Machu Picchu. Marvel at the breathtaking architecture, learn about the spiritual significance of its temples, and uncover the secrets hidden within its ancient stone walls.

Day 2

Your Machu Picchu Adventure Begins!

06:00 am

The wait is over! Take a scenic 20-minute bus ride from Aguas Calientes to the legendary Machu Picchu. Explore the ancient citadel on a guided 2-hour tour, uncovering Inca history, engineering marvels, and spiritual mysteries. Afterward, enjoy free time to wander, capture breathtaking photos, and soak in the magic of this world wonder.

Journey Back to Cusco

4:00 pm

Descend to Aguas Calientes on foot (1 hour 40 minutes) or opt for a quick bus ride (USD 12). Enjoy your last moments in town before boarding the train to Ollantaytambo. From there, a private bus will take you back to Cusco, concluding your unforgettable Machu Picchu adventure.  Departure time subject to the train availability.
