Arrive at Lima’s Jorge Chávez International Airport. Transfer to your hotel in the Miraflores district. Settle in and begin your Peruvian adventure in this dynamic coastal city. Take some time to relax or explore Miraflores, known for its oceanfront parks, vibrant atmosphere, and excellent dining options.
Cusco Arrival & City Tour – Inca Heritage
Fly from Lima to Cusco, the historical capital of the Inca Empire. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and acclimatize to the altitude. In the afternoon, embark on a guided city tour. Explore the Plaza de Armas, Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun), and Sacsayhuaman fortress. Discover the rich tapestry of Inca and colonial history within Cusco’s charming streets.

Salkantay Trek – Journey to Machu Picchu
Begin your Salkantay Trek! Depart Cusco early and journey to Mollepata for breakfast. Start trekking towards Soraypampa, enjoying views of the Andes. After lunch at Soraypampa camp, hike to the stunning Humantay Lagoon, a turquoise gem nestled beneath snow-capped peaks. Participate in a traditional offering to Pachamama. Return to Soraypampa for dinner and overnight stay in rustic cottages.
Salkantay Trek – Journey to Machu Picchu
Challenge yourself on the trek’s most demanding day. Wake early and ascend to the Salkantay Pass (4,750m), the highest point, with panoramic Andean views. Experience a Pachamama ceremony at the pass. Descend to Huayracmachay for lunch, then continue through changing landscapes to the cloud forest and Colpapampa campsite. Relax in natural hot springs and enjoy dinner under the stars.

Wake up to birdsong as we descend into the lush Santa Teresa Valley, passing vibrant flora and coffee plantations. After a farm-fresh lunch, a scenic drive takes us to Hidroelectrica, where we hike along the Urubamba River to Aguas Calientes. Settle in, explore, or unwind in the hot springs before a group dinner and final briefing for Machu Picchu!

Experience Machu Picchu at sunrise! Wake early and hike or bus up to the citadel. Enjoy a guided 2-hour tour of Machu Picchu, exploring its highlights. Have free time to explore further. Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch, and then take the train to Ollantaytambo, followed by a bus back to Cusco.
