Arrive at Soraypampa (3,900m/12,795ft), the starting point of your trek, where your guide provides a briefing before beginning the 4 km round-trip hike to Laguna Humantay. The moderately challenging ascent winds through breathtaking Andean landscapes, with panoramic views of the towering Salkantay Mountain. While the high altitude adds difficulty, the stunning scenery makes every step worthwhile. Take your time, enjoy the journey, and if needed, horses are available for rent.

Make your way back to Soraypampa, enjoying a smoother, scenic descent through the stunning Andean landscape. The return hike takes about an hour, offering a final chance to soak in the breathtaking surroundings. Continue to Mollepata for a well-earned buffet lunch, where you can indulge in traditional Peruvian flavors while reminiscing about your unforgettable adventure.
