Shared tour: Please note, that you may meet many people from other groups who booked the same tour activity with us and coincided with you on the same departure day and join us.

Accommodation: Sky dome! SOLO travelers joining group trips are paired in twins with someone of the same sex for the duration of the activity.

The big day arrived. Start your exciting journey early with pickup from your accommodation in Cusco. We will head towards Mollepata (2 hours by vehicle), our first stop of the day for a nutritious breakfast. Then we will continue our trip until we reach Challacancha for a short rest. From this point we will begin our hike to our camp in Soraypampa (3hrs30min approx).
This first section is soft and moderate and will help you adapt to the altitude. We will arrive at our destination, Sky Camp, in front of the majestic and snowy mountains of Salkantay and Humantay, where our staff will be waiting for you with an delicious lunch.
Afterwards, you will have time to rest before beginning our hike to Humantay Lagoon (4,200 m / 13,780 feet). We will go uphill slowly due to the altitude. Once at the top, you will have time to enjoy the stunning view of the lake. Then we will return to our camp to enjoy a dinner.
After the delicious dinner, you can head to your skydome to rest and gaze at the stars.

Today is the big day because you will reach the highest point of the trip. A hike where you will be surrounded by impressive views.
Very early we will enjoy a hearty and nutritious breakfast before gradually ascending to Salkantaypampa along a challenging trail until we reach the impressive Salkantay Pass (4,630 m / 15,190 ft).
Once up we will have time to photograph and enjoy the impressive view of the snow-capped mountains and feel the energy of nature. Already recharged and renewed by nature, we will descend to our Base Camp for lunch.
Your effort will be greatly rewarded with a delicious lunch at our Base Camp. We will have time to rest before embarking on a last 30-minute stretch to board the transportation to Cusco (3hrs approx.)
If you are booking the Lake Humantay and Salkantay Pass Trek with Peru Bucket List, we will require 100% of the full amount at a booking time minimum of 24 hrs. before the trek starts.
