Once inside the Citadel, we will have time to take pictures for about 30 min approx. We will begin our 2-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu, after which we will have free time to explore it.

At the end of the visit, we will return to Aguas Calientes on foot or by bus (USD 12 down). Here we will have time for lunch and then return to the hotel to collect our belongings and go to the train station to catch the train that will take us to Ollantaytambo (1hr45min), where our bus will be waiting there to take us to Cusco 2hrs.

VERY IMPORTANT:
The train departure will be according to the SCHEDULE available by the train company. It can vary depending on how early was purchased.

If you have a different type of Machu Picchu ticket than the rest of the group, then you have to enter at the specified time your entrance. It will mean that you do not have the included guide of 2 hours in the citadel. It can happen if you buy or reserve the trek with us at the last minute or if you got your Machu Picchu ticket during the high season.

The drop-off will be at Plaza Regocijo, close to Plaza de Armas, three block distance. We do this because the traffic in Cusco city at night is chaotic, and the arrival at your hostel door may take too much time. We hope you can understand.
