At dawn, we take a short boat ride to the parrot clay lick, where colorful parrots gather naturally. They feed on mineral-rich clay, offering a unique wildlife spectacle in the Amazon rainforest. After breakfast, we return by boat to Atalaya and continue by bus through the cloud forest. We pass Pilcopata and nearby jungle communities while enjoying scenic rainforest views. As a result, we arrive back in Cusco between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. The journey ends after exploring one of Peru’s most biodiverse regions.

CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations & No-Shows:

Cancellations made after 5:00 pm (Peru time) or failure to appear (no-show) will incur a 100% cancellation fee, with no exceptions.

This is a shared tour. You may be joined by other travelers who have booked the same experience, resulting in a diverse group of participants.
Meals Included:
The tour package includes 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 2 dinners. Vegetarian and vegan meal options are available upon advance request.
Accommodation:
Solo travelers will be accommodated with another guest of the same gender, either in twin rooms or shared dormitories, depending on availability and lodge configuration. Accommodation is typically in a country-style lodge, offering a communal and rustic atmosphere.
Service Level:
This tour operates at a Standard service level, providing moderate comfort, amenities, and inclusions suitable for an immersive Amazon experience.
Connectivity:
Please be advised that this tour takes place in the Peruvian Amazon, where internet access is extremely limited and Wi-Fi connectivity may be very poor or unavailable.
Pick-up & Drop-off:
Pickup service is available from the hostels or hotels located near downtown Cusco. If your accommodation is outside this area, we will contact you to confirm the designated pickup point. At the end of the tour, we will return you Plaza Regocijo – Cusco.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions, public disturbances, or other unforeseen circumstances. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility should adjustments be necessary.
Travel Information – Journey & Comfort Notes:
Please note that this is a long round-trip journey along a narrow and uneven road, operated in a small-group vehicle with a maximum capacity of 16 passengers to ensure access to these remote locations.
Due to the isolated nature of the route, scheduled restroom stops will be made along the way. We kindly recommend bringing snacks or breakfast for the first part of the journey, as well as any personal toiletries you may need, to ensure a comfortable experience throughout the day.
