Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup in Cusco before traveling by bus through the breathtaking Sacred Valley toward Santa Teresa. Along the way, you’ll enjoy spectacular mountain landscapes. After arriving at Hydroelectric, begin the scenic hike to Aguas Calientes, surrounded by lush cloud forest and beautiful Andean scenery.

After returning to Aguas Calientes, begin the scenic walk back to Hydroelectric, where your transportation to Cusco will be waiting. Relax and enjoy the final landscapes of the Andes as you travel back through the Sacred Valley, arriving in Cusco in the evening with unforgettable memories of your Machu Picchu adventure.

Important: Please arrive back in Aguas Calientes on time to ensure the scheduled departure from Hydroelectric, as the shared transportation cannot wait for late arrivals.

To confirm your reservation for the 2-Day Machu Picchu Adventure via Hydroelectric tour with Peru Bucket List, full payment (100%) is required at the time of booking, no later than 48 hours prior to the tour departure.

CHANGES & CANCELLATION POLICY

No-Shows & Cancellations

48 hours before departure: A 30% administrative fee applies to cover operational and reservation costs.

24 hours before departure: A 45% administrative fee applies.

Less than 24 hours before departure or No-Show: A 100% cancellation fee applies.

Please note that Machu Picchu entrance tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable once issued, in accordance with Peruvian government regulations.

  • Pick-up and Drop-off: Pickup service is available from the hostels/hotels located near downtown Cusco. If you are staying elsewhere, we will contact you with the exact pickup location. For the return trip, we will drop off you to Plaza Regocijo.
  • Itinerary Changes: The itinerary may change due to weather conditions, road closures, or circumstances beyond our control. Any necessary adjustments will always prioritize the safety of our travelers.
  • Machu Picchu Citadel entraces: Entrance tickets are issued according to official government availability, including the assigned circuit and entry time. We strongly recommend booking early to secure your preferred visit. Please review our Terms & Conditions before confirming your reservation.
  • Guide: A professional guide is included during your guided visit inside Machu Picchu. The hikes between Hydroelectric and Aguas Calientes are self-guided, but our team provides detailed instructions before departure.
