We recommend bringing a small overnight bag or backpack with essentials for your stay in Huacachina. Larger luggage can usually be stored in Lima before departure if needed.

Wine and Pisco tasting are included. Lunch is available during the vineyard visit, while breakfast and dinner depend on the accommodation option selected. Numerous restaurants are available around Huacachina Lagoon.

Bring comfortable clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, walking shoes, a light jacket for the evening, swimwear if your hotel has a pool, and a camera to capture the incredible desert scenery.

Refund Policy

Where a refund is applicable, approved refunds will be processed through the original booking platform or via PayPal.

A 15% administrative and processing fee will be deducted from all eligible refunds.

Please note that third-party payment processors and booking platforms may apply additional transaction fees that are beyond Peru Bucket List’s control.

By confirming a reservation, the client acknowledges and accepts these conditions.

During peak holiday periods such as Holy Week (April 6–9) and July 28–30 (Peru’s Independence Day celebrations), pick-up times will be one hour earlier than usual to avoid traffic and ensure a smooth day.

On these dates, the Ballestas Islands boat tour will have a duration of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes (all operators), and the dune buggy & sandboarding experience in Huacachina will last about 1 hour (all operators). Thank you for your understanding— These adjustments help us make the most of the day during Peru’s busiest travel seasons!

Unforeseen Circumstances

In the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control—including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, road closures, government restrictions, strikes, social unrest, force majeure events, or other unforeseen situations—Peru Bucket List reserves the right to modify, reschedule, substitute, or cancel activities when necessary for safety and operational reasons.

In such cases:

• Guests will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.
• Alternative activities or itinerary adjustments may be offered where feasible.
• Refunds will only be issued when applicable under the cancellation and refund policies stated above.

Peru Bucket List shall not be responsible for additional expenses incurred by travelers as a result of these circumstances.
