Take your time, pace yourself, and if needed, horses are available for rent to assist with the climb.

Spiritual & Cultural Significance

Laguna Humantay is a sacred site revered by Quechua communities, believed to hold powerful spiritual energy. Deeply tied to Andean cosmology and Pachamama (Mother Earth), it remains a place for traditional ceremonies, where locals offer coca leaves and prayers for blessings and protection.
