Overview

Meet your guide in the heart of Lima’s Historic Center and begin a delicious adventure through the city’s lively streets and traditional markets. As you walk along, you’ll learn how migration—from the Andes, the Amazon, and even China—helped shape Lima’s rich and diverse food culture.

During the experience, you’ll sample a variety of beloved local bites such as choclo con queso, papa rellena, ceviche, siu mai, min pao, lúcuma juice, anticuchos, picarones, pan con chicharrón, emoliente, and a selection of exotic fruits. Between tastings, you’ll stroll through vibrant areas like Barrios Altos, Chinatown, and the Central Market, discovering the stories, traditions, and people behind each flavor.

To finish, you’ll have the option to try a classic pisco sour at the iconic Bolivarcito Bar (not included – extra cost). Afterward, you can keep exploring the historic center on your own or choose an optional drop-off back to your accommodation.
