Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain Tour from Cusco

Hike to Three Vibrant Peaks and a Sacred Stone Forest in One Day

Escape the crowds and discover a different kind of Andean magic. Our Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain tour from Cusco leads you to a breathtaking landscape of not one, but three stunningly colored peaks, all with a fraction of the effort and visitors of its famous neighbor, Vinicunca.

This hidden gem offers a more accessible high-altitude adventure. The trek is significantly easier, making it perfect for families, those short on time in Cusco, or anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the vibrant, mineral-streaked beauty of the Andes without the strenuous climb. Alongside the rainbow mountains, you’ll explore the mystical Stone Forest (Bosque de Piedras) , a site of ancient spiritual significance.

Why Choose Palccoyo Over Vinicunca?

Unlike the classic Rainbow Mountain, Palccoyo offers:

✔ Fewer crowds and peaceful trails
✔ Shorter and easier hike (approx. 45–60 minutes)
✔ Three colorful mountain peaks
✔ The famous Rock Forest viewpoint
✔ Stunning Red Valley landscapes

This is the smarter choice for travelers who want the beauty without the exhaustion.
