Into the Heart of the Amazon
Your Amazon adventure begins with a seamless pick-up from the airport or hotel, leading you into the heart of the rainforest. Explore a vibrant local market, cruise along the legendary Amazon River, and settle into your jungle lodge surrounded by breathtaking nature. Encounter exotic wildlife, from playful monkeys to elusive pink dolphins, and experience the magic of the jungle both day and night.

Amazon Wonders: Dawn to Dusk
Start your day with a peaceful canoe ride, spotting exotic birds like toucans and the prehistoric Hoatzin. After breakfast, visit Monkey Island, a sanctuary for rescued primates, sloths, and macaws. In the afternoon, fish for piranhas using traditional methods, then embark on a thrilling night canoe excursion to observe alligators, snakes, and other nocturnal creatures.

DAY 3
Amazon’s Hidden Wonders
After breakfast, cruise the Amazon and Yanayacu Rivers, exploring the rich biodiversity of this «jungle of mirrors.» Spot exotic wildlife along the riverbanks, from primates to sloths. After lunch, take an ethnobotanical walk to discover medicinal plants and the towering Lupuna tree. End the day with a relaxing evening at the lodge.
DAY 4
Culture, Tradition & Lasting Memories
After breakfast, we’ll visit the Yagua Native Community to experience their traditional dances, rituals, and customs. Try your hand at the blow dart, an ancestral hunting tool of the tribe. Afterward, we’ll return to the lodge for a final lunch before heading back to Iquitos, where we’ll drop you off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of an unforgettable Amazon adventure.

If you are booking the 4 Days Iquitos Splendorous Amazon Experience tour with Peru Bucket List, we will require 100% of the full amount at booking time 10 hrs. before the tour begins. For any last-minute booking please send us a message on our Whatsapp number +51 913 965 587/ +51 920 853 520, we may have places left for you.
CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
NO SHOWS and CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel 1 day before the tour before 5:00 pm (Peru time), a 20% administration fee will apply. After this time, there’s a 100% no-show cancellation fee without any exceptions. CHANGES: Any changes to the tour date MUST be done before 5:00 pm (Peru time) 1 day prior to the tour.

- Shared Tour Experience: You may encounter other groups who booked the same tour, meaning there’s potential for a diverse mix of participants sharing the experience.
- Meals Included: The package includes 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 2 dinners. Vegetarian and vegan options are available upon advance notice.
- Accommodation: Solo travelers will be paired with others of the same sex in either twin rooms or multi-share dorms, depending on the lodging setup. The accommodation is likely in a country lodge, emphasizing a communal and potentially rustic experience.
- Service Level: The tour operates at a Standard service level, implying moderate comfort, amenities, and inclusions.
- Connectivity: Please note that it is a trip to the Amazon of Peru; therefore, the Wi-Fi service is very poor.
- Pick-up and Drop-off: Pickup service is available from the airport to hostels/hotels located near downtown Iquitos. If you are staying elsewhere, we will contact you with the exact pickup location. For the return trip, we will return you to your accommodation or, if you have a connecting flight, will directly conclude the tour.
- Itinerary Changes: Please note that the itinerary may be subject to modifications due to weather conditions and/or public disturbances, among other factors. We appreciate your understanding and patience should this occur.
