Day 1: Arrival, Amazon River & Jungle Lodge
Into the Heart of the Amazon
Your Amazon adventure begins with a smooth pickup from the airport or your hotel in Iquitos. First, explore a lively local market before cruising along the legendary Amazon River.
Later, arrive at your jungle lodge surrounded by pristine rainforest. Along the way, you may spot monkeys, birds, and even pink river dolphins. As night falls, experience the magic of the jungle after dark.
Day 2: Wildlife, Monkey Island & Night Canoe

Start the day with a peaceful canoe ride, where you can spot exotic birds such as toucans and the prehistoric hoatzin.
After breakfast, visit Monkey Island, a rescue center for primates, sloths, and macaws. In the afternoon, try traditional piranha fishing before heading out on a thrilling night canoe excursion to observe nocturnal wildlife, including caimans and snakes.

Day 3: Rivers, Medicinal Plants & Jungle Walk

After breakfast, cruise along the Amazon and Yanayacu Rivers, often called the “jungle of mirrors” for their stunning reflections.
Later, enjoy an ethnobotanical walk to learn about medicinal plants and the towering Lupuna tree. The afternoon is free to relax at the lodge and soak in the sounds of the rainforest.
Day 4: Yagua Community & Return to Iquitos
Culture, Tradition & Lasting Memories
On your final day, visit the Yagua Native Community and learn about their traditional dances, rituals, and customs. You’ll also have the chance to try the ancestral blow dart.
After a farewell lunch, return to Iquitos, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of an unforgettable Amazon adventure.

Solo travelers will be accommodated with another guest of the same gender, either in twin rooms or shared dormitories, depending on availability and lodge configuration. Accommodation is typically in a country-style lodge, offering a communal and rustic atmosphere.
Service Level:
This tour operates at a Standard service level, providing moderate comfort, amenities, and inclusions suitable for an immersive Amazon experience.
Connectivity:
Please be advised that this tour takes place in the Peruvian Amazon, where internet access is extremely limited and Wi-Fi connectivity may be very poor or unavailable.
Pick-up & Drop-off:
Pickup service is available from the Iquitos Airport and from hostels or hotels located near downtown Iquitos. If your accommodation is outside this area, we will contact you to confirm the designated pickup point.
At the end of the tour, we will return you to your accommodation or, if you have a connecting flight, conclude the tour directly at the airport.
